Manager, Product Software Engineering
Basic Function This role will be the central position in managing the design, development and delivery of the WK Research Platform. The ideal candidate will be leading a team of enterprise architects, designers, business analysts and development teams including interactions with Vendors dev teams, QE teams, Automation teams, Operations, Support and System Engineering teams. The person will be able to do project planning, have working knowledge about development processes, manage relationships intra and inter teams, be able to scope project work, assign tasks and have appropriate technical knowledge of coding, testing, release management and managing deployments and dependencies of releases. Essential Duties and responsibilities Manage the development team, designers, architects in term. Responsible for delivering the capabilities on time and on budget. Managing relationship with other teams and working with Scrum master, PMO and other development teams in aligning schedules and deliveries. Manage the release process across all platforms and services. Oversee the design, development and align the architecture and deliveries as true enterprise services. Manage the software development process or enhance / recommend improvements to make it more efficient and productive. Technically guide the team to develop highly efficient, high scale enterprise service deliveries Be responsible for delivering quality, unit tested capabilities with all processes / security architectures being followed and documented Train and mentor new designers, business analysts, developers who join the team Job
Qualifications Education:
Required as a minimum a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related field or having a relevant experience
Experience:
At least 5
years of managing highly efficient teams of developers, designers and architects At least 5
years in development of enterprise applications Be proficient in deploying and running applications in Cloud Platforms Experience in working in an Agile environment, including experience with CI/CD frameworks Have development experience in cloud technology like AWS, Azure Knowledge of XML, XHTML content structures and content processing Travel requirements Moderate Travel could be required for offsite meetings with other teams for design, architecture and or meeting with business within the US or to Europe. Physical Demands NA
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
