National Spine and Pain Centers National Spine and Pain Centers Babylon, NY Babylon, NY Full-time Full-time $20 - $22 an hour $20 - $22 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Responsibilities - Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures - Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar - Able to manage heavy phone call volume and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Perform data entry tasks to update patient records and medical information - Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns - Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and insurance companies - Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area Requirements - Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages preferred - Proficient in data entry and computer skills - Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor - Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is preferred - Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills - Ability to analyze information and problem-solve effectively - Multilingual skills are a plus We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant who is fluent in both English and Spanish.
